• Conservative Management of Hand Conditions: This unit will cover the conservative management of hand conditions, including splinting, exercise, and education.
• Surgical Management of Hand Conditions: This unit will cover the surgical management of hand conditions, including the indications, contraindications, and techniques for various hand surgeries.
• Rehabilitation of Hand Conditions: This unit will cover the rehabilitation of hand conditions, including the principles of rehabilitation, the stages of healing, and the various interventions used in hand therapy.
• Pain Management in Hand Therapy: This unit will cover the various approaches to pain management in hand therapy, including pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, and psychological interventions.
• Professional Practice in Hand Therapy: This unit will cover the professional practice of hand therapy, including ethical and legal considerations, cultural competence, and documentation requirements.
• Research in Hand Therapy: This unit will cover the importance of research in hand therapy, including the various research methods used in hand therapy, the interpretation of research findings, and the application of research to clinical practice.
